    Spotify.exe ???????

I've had a security alert from my Norton internet worm protection thingy saying that, C:\Program Files\Spotify\spotify.exe has attempted to access my computer.

Please, excuse my ignorance, but as i use spotify on a regular basis and i don't want to loose it or owt, am i supposed to delete it or allow it?

    Ta for any advice....specially if it's helpfull,like.

my spotify on my pc has disappeared and everytime i install it the shortcuts are pointing to C:\Program Files\Spotify\ as the spotify.exe seems to be deleted, i suppose it must be the anti virus deleting it???

Keep Spotify Mark, and get rid of bleedin Norton! It's more of a virus than most viruseses out there. Get rid and use 'Avast!' antivirus. Although getting rid of Norton is not as easy as it should be - I think you have to download some removal tool or something complicated I don't feel qualified to talk about in any detail whatsoever.
    Still, not to worry, eh?

He's right, if you had norton on your pc you are better off if you make a clean re-install and then get something like nod32 or avast. Your pc will probably run faster too.

where should you get avast from?

just deleted norton (we'll see if it stays deleted after the restart), but there's a few websites like, and i'd assume some of them are phishers giving you viruses

    cheers
