whats a good first depower kite

ive been flying traction kites for some time now and i think its time to move onto a depower kite and start landboarding because im starting to get bored of just skudding and jumping so can you please advise me on a good first depower kite and a good first board as there are so many kites out there i dont want to just choose one and it be to much for me. i weight about 10stone an will be flying in medium winds so i was thinking maybe around a 10m. what do you think?

    thanks chris

Too many good ones to list. But 10m is ideal.
The later year the better as they will offer more depower, better stability and nicer bar pressure.

what about a gin inuit 10.5m are these any good because at £556 rtf on extreme kites they seem well priced but will that reflect in the performance of the kite as the mantas an the frenzys are all around £900 rtf on powerkiteshop which is above my budget

Gin's are very nice kites. Inuit is comparable to the Access. If you want new, and that's your budget then I'm sure you'd be pleased with it.

just looked at the radsail evo 2 looks like a good kite might have to invest in a 10m

if you buy a new kite that someone has bought then either not used it or whatever it will be alot cheaper say 09. if its cheaper then you can keep your eyes on a better kite and if you crash it doesnt matter as much couse it wasnt new

If you want cheaper than Ozone but similar performance you could do far worse than get one of the HQ Montana 5s. They are really good value for money!

Yep for my two pence worth as zippy said the Montana 5 9.5m or an 8m neo2 both are great kites and offer a very good value for money alternative to the ozones. They will offer you the same level of performance as well.

If you want to try one drop me a pm and I will try to hook you up with a test flight.
