    what does the bksa power kite instructor envolve to get?? im RAF and me and my mate are starting a club at our base he is doing his kite surf instructor in october and i want to get my power kite instructor to enable me to run "taster" sesions while he is teaching more advanced stuff and when im more competent and have more experiance hopefully move onto board trainin but anyway i drift away from the main subject!! what sort of prices am i lookin at, any pre-requisites and overall what does the course consist of??

    Jonny - You know Jed from RAF Valley? They have big kite club. I helped with some work with them to make it an officially accepted sport in the RAF a couple of years ago. We also were involved with an 'all-forces' kite comp. I can dig out his contact details if you need. They also do kiting at the Scotland camp and Cyprus base.

    i know of jed lol, the other guy who's doing his kitesurf inst knows him (chucky) . contact details are easy to find i'm on the rpka forum so i can just pm him on there and im part of the rpka so i will probs see him at one of the meets (if i ever manage to either find the time or save the money to go on one!!). have already spoken to chief inst for rpka about settin up an insurance an stuff thats the almost strait forward bit lol! i was really just looking at what the inst course for power kite entailed before i started submitting paperwork. no point applying for a course im not ready for if you get what i mean. there out in cyp at the moment (jammy gits) thanx for that though mate appreciate it

    looking to refresh it actually , as something is coming up in my hometown where I think I might need it. Plus once done anyone know where to get insurance when teaching?
