BKSA and IKO. Qualified for about 7 years. Taught 2-3 days a week since I got qualified. Have nothing to do with either organisation as they both just want my money! Glad I got qualified if for no other reason than to get properly trained and insured for teaching. Ive taught around 2000 people now! :0

What are the requirements to be an instructor?
An outstanding kiter doesn't necesarily make a good instructor.
We don't have any qualified buggy instructors here in the UAE but us more experienced guys teach the newbies.
I'm a pretty bad example of an experienced guy teaching newbies having broken my wrist after more than 10 years of very regular buggying. That doesn't inspire the newbies, does it?

BKSA and IKO qualified since 2003.

Now affiliated with IKO only as it's easier to be recognised abroad. Going to Re-affiliate with the BKSA this coming year.

I'm IKO level 1 and my boyfriend is IKO level 2 - both Kitesurf..

As you can probably tell we run our own kitesurfing centre too!

hopefully snowkite by the beginning of next year if they ever put the dates up on IKO!
