    No point in any cheating and holding the GPS out of your car window lol

    Speeds of over 30mph can be dangerous to both yourself and the public.

    Personal and public safety is paramount when attempting a personal best speed.

    Use suitable safety equipment, have someone watching over you in case anything goes wrong and be very aware of any members of the public in your vicinity

    Make sure you have insurance

    Make sure your buggy and equipment are up to the job.

    Most of all do not take risks, do not come to us if you have a problem, we do not endorse any speed attempt.

    Well I have an unofficial 56.4 mph from my old bug. I can get a lift in a car, turn the GPS on and take a piccie if you want... or you can take my word for it lol.

    The Tornado II will go quicker!

    Here's my top speed ever & is nothing to shout home about but what might be more impressive is the 102 kms I did just one way on that day.



    66.6 kph converts to 41.38 mph

    What a good idea this is. Especially for the likes of me only just starting out. Last weekend i did 22.5 mph. Laugh if you must but this was only my second time in my bug But i never thought to photograph it

    Yes have pic, and have the track log on file too!
    Averaged 98.4 for 7 seconds.

    I have seen 80+ mph recorded on a GPS before now.
    Not convinced they are totaly reliable for maximum speeds.

    I'll second that. He sent me an email soon after his epic speed run.
    c_quad_squad is an outstanding buggier who I met in Aussie during the BBB & he even joined us here for a week's buggying in the UAE a couple of years back.
