Adam - I'm gonna be out a 6fields on Saturday if weather and wind is good.

Given Mothers day on Sunday and I've got to finish decorating our front room, beach/LKP will have to be another week :-(

Enjoy yourself peeps if ya go to Hunny.

    Cheers.

Perry and I are pretty sure we will go whether Rob can make it or not, so call me if you want to meet up. We will also be taking Alyson.

im so pleased i finaly got the reverse 180 kiteloops sorted yes

untill desarster struck my neck and thum is killing me i think if i didnt have my body armour on that would have been bad i looked over my boddy armour when i got home ant the back protection worked so well the two zips at the pack of it were half open so im glad i was wearing that.

Yep top day so nice to be back out.

How did the beach trip go?

My spill was caused by not remembering its not winter any more; throwing a flexi into a turn at 25-30 mph on grippy grass isn't too sensible! Kept the kite in the air whilst under my buggy which is quite a skill!

Hope your thumb is ok and get the handles/leader sorted.

Was good but I have a long way to go before I can classify myself as a kitesurfer.
Managed several random inaverted 'floats' whilst launching .
But did manage to get the board on my feet twice, once resulting into an airboune superman nose keel, the other into a whole 8 FEET of downwind skim LOL - Then I was knakared!!

Still kite flyes pretty well so all is good.

Did manage to relaunch the kite off the water about 4 times so hopefully learnt some stuff.

after last week i thought to myself its time to design my own handles

so i got a set of flexi handles took the standard powerleaders out of them and then replaced then with a straight through loop of 5mm climbing cord from one handle to the outher
what ive done is put the cord throught the back of the handle then went throught the top then knoted the cord then poked it back through the front of the handle then thats it ..

and now its three times stronger so no more bracking..

    what do you think

Anyone get out; its been a cracking day?

Thinking of updating my quiver by selling old Blades for new ones and maybe a Rage or a couple of Riots?

Thoughts? Have two 2.6s so will be keeping one of them so leaves a 3ish m and a 5m. Thinking 3.5 Rage and 4.9 Blade IV used if I can find them or new if not.....or a 3 and 5m Riot...?

Graham; I thought that you already had a set of handles with a continuous loop with the bullets in? Or did you stop using them?

i stoped useing them my set that i made up are alot better no risk of the grub screw coming losse just a nice big fat knot much better

yh i got out today was a good wind for a ne-e wind not realy that gusty it was constant for around 10-15min at a time then went abit light and heavy every now and again was realy good

i think you should get a 3.5 rage and the 4.9 0r maybe the 6.5 as you will be able to tune it down to a 4.9 and you will get a better wind range out of the kite
