Hiya folks!

Happy new year.

Its been a while since I last went buggying or visited this forum and just wanted to catch up with things. Anyone still kiting in or around Northamnpton these days? I take that there's still a ban on down at Sixfields? Where are people flying these days? Would like to know as am dying to get back out in the buggy!!!

Hey Perry, I'm always well. Its the others!!! I like to see whats happening with the Cobblers of course. I've been over to 6 fields a few times but the run off area always scared me a bit. Come on then, name a beach and a date. Not next week tho cos I is on an Instructor course. Nah not kiting. Thats later.

Either really. If the tides out its buggying. If its in, well the other. A win/win situation. I'm a bit of a wimp and I reckon the H2O may be a little cold for me yet. ( I'm trying to sort out a warm trip away at the mo)
Ah the instructor course thing. I'll pm you the details. I can't say too much on here. But if anyone wants to guess at it, just for fun like. Nowt at all to do with kites/water/sand/wind/fighting/army/s*x or farm animals.

Ahh, been trying to track this thread down, but couldnt find it anywhere, nice 1 gunner for bringing it back up.

Ive been up sixfields, flying a few evenings over the last couple of weeks & havent had any problems, there were even site security guys watching a couple of times

There was another flyer up there 1 night & he said he'd been going up there fairly regularly for the last month or so & hadnt had any issues.

So, I aint saying its okay to use, but theres some good easterly wind over the weekend, anyone going up ????

Been up there quite a few more evenings over the past couple of weeks & still not had a problem, hoping to get up there this afternoon for a quick fly Wanna have a play with my new http://www.goprocamera.com See if I can get some sort of flying footage

Just got back from Camber,boy it was windy, buggied on saturday morning but the Elliot Echo(2.8) is such hard work in the 20+ wind,my arms still hurt.
Sunday was even more windy so did not bother,Reminded me of the Camber meet a couple of years ago(remember that Gunner) still it was fun

Had a good session today, wind was very gusty but still managed a couple of good runs as well as a bit of jumping,pity nobody else was there but had no problems

Went for a fly tonight at sixfields, pants wind, but had no problems......was a football match on though......seems this may be the future for this spot :-(
