    Extreme Eastbourne 2009 - 18th to 19th July

    Eastbourne Extreme 2009

    It's back!!

SEKA will again be taking part at Eastbourne Extreme and we'd like to invite riders and volunteers along for what many will vouch for as an excellent weekend.

E-mail invitations have already been sent out to most of the riders that appeared last year but we are always keen to have more.

If you'd like to come and join some of the best riders in the country to show off your skills to thousands of the general public and bring kiting to the masses then please contact Dave Conway at Eastsussexrep@seka.org.uk

We'll also be holding our very popular taster sessions allowing anyone to come along and have a go at powerkiting and get a small taste of the thrill we feel everytime we put a kite in the air.

This year's event is being held on July 18th and 19th, with camping available from the Friday evening at the flying site itself! So we've even more time to enjoy ourselves on the Saturday night and no rush to pack up on Sunday morning

All details about the weekend can be found here - http://www.seka.org.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=96

If you are planning on coming - let us know as we need an idea on camping and BBQ numbers.

    Can't wait

Being 20 mins down the road, me and the family won't be needing a space at the camp site lol

It's the field here with the fair ground on it.

Looks like there's someone flying an LEI in the SW corner

Hope they've gone by the weekend.

Good fun with the little kites! I demo'd a 5m Apex today (thanks to Joe from wind designs), couldn't really give a proper opinion of the thing because I flew it for about 5 mins before getting lofted in a gust and going arse over tit
It was the first time i've actually used my Trampa, and I'm quite pleased with it

I also showed why I don't buggy... 1.8m Rage on a bar + a flexi bug + silly wind = me rolling it
