eXtremeKiteshop Festival May 10th/11th Official Information

As you all may be aware the first festival of this year had to be cancelled. But, this has given us the chance to work extra hard on the May event to ensure that we provide you guys with one hell of a memorable event!

Due to amazing response we have received for this event we have had to put a cap on the number of freeflying/freestyle flyers. This is to ensure that the flying area can be monitored closely for safety and also for your personal enjoyment.
To guarantee your place please book your tickets online or over the phone (details below).

Once we have reached our capped number of flyers we will be refusing use of the freeflying/freestyle field to those turning up without tickets.

We would also like to encourage bookings for camping to help us forecast numbers and help us arrange the camp site to accommodate all visitors comfortably and safely.

    Prices are as follows:

Friday Night Camping and Saturday Flying - £15.00 (Off site by 8pm sat)

Saturday Night Camping and Sunday Flying - £15.00

    Weekend Ticket - £25.00

*Family Ticket Friday Night Camping and saturday Flying - £30.00 (off site by 8pm sat)

*Family Ticket Saturday Camping and Sunday Flying - £30.00

    *Family Weekend Ticket - £50.00

    Spectator Camping Only - £5.00

    * Family Tickets include 2 adults and 2 children up to age 16

    British Lawn Freestyle Open 2008

You heard it right people, we are proud to announce that we will be holding a freestyle board and buggy competition at the event. The competition will be judged by non other than the Godfather of Buggy, Rob Hills. So if you think you have what it takes to compete come along and show Rob and everyone else what you got.

The competition will be split into different categories and principles which will be announced very shortly.

There will be a charge of £5.00 on top of your day or weekend pass to compete.

    See ya all there!!!

    Hi guys.
We can now give a little more info on the evening entertainment to be held in the marquee.

Event 1. The results of the first ever British Lawn Freestyle Open will be announced and prizes presented to the deserving winners. We are hoping to get some decent media exposure for this so brush your hair if your on the podium !!!

Event 2. Indo Board contest. If your not sure what this is check out
http://www.extremekiteshop.com/kites/balance-boards-c-177.html to see what they look like. Alternatively go to www.youtube.com and search for Indo Board and all will be revealed.
The contest will be judged by ExtremeKiteShops very own Justin Pugh. He will be running our trade shop on the campsite and will be completely open to all attempts of bribery throughout the day !!! ( NOT REALLY )

Event 3. The ExtremeKiteShop Jumping Jockey Competition. More details on this will be posted closer to the event but trust me you will not want to miss this !

Full details on categories and prizes for the Freestyle Open, Indo Board Contest and the Jumping Jockey Competition will be posted here soon. Entry will be free to all and you can register anytime during Saturday at the Registration tent.

That’s it for now but watch this space for more details. Also don’t forget tickets to the festival are on sale now at
www.extremekiteshop.co.uk so book early to avoid disappointment.

    See you in May

Dont worry Freddie, I dont have the time to practice at the moment so I will be sat directly in front of you watching for any mistakes! I have received the contest formula from Adrian @ Indo Board Europe and will be writing up the judging criteria very soon!

Be warned, I will be very strict!!!!

25 quid?? What happened there guys? The cancelled one was going to be £20 like the rest have been.

Sounds like someone decided to take advantage of the cancellation of other events and bump the prices up.

Do I also assume that some of the valuable flying space will be taken over for the competition? Will it make it worth it for the rest of us to actually turn up?
