Sorry to hear of your troubles Garry.

I have some but they are smaller than PKA regulation size on my standard Flexi Buggy. Will this be OK or do I have to make up proper plates?

    Cheers,

    Steve.

Matt, GaRRy is supplying food and a BBQ (cook your own), and knowing GaRRy's appetite even you won't go hungry

Mind you I'll probably have my stove to make porridge, the BBQ probably won't be going 24 hours.

Can anyone come along to spectate (I'll bring food!) - I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

Is there anywhere to static fly when the race is on ?

I've been watching with interest from the sidelines... some will know that I've been diverted by an old passion of mine so the main bulk of kites have been stashed away and the buggy will be going south this weekend to a new home.

For those that haven't done the event before it'll be a blast if it is half the event it was last time. For those who were on the beach at Hoylake 2 years ago I hope the wind blows and rain stays away and most of all that it is a greater success than 2007 (and someone is able to break the record set last year).

Best wishes to all taking part.

Enjoy the best beach in Britain.

Call me a cynic but i have little faith of any forecast that doesn't involve looking out of the window and saying what is happening now
    there is plan B
