Welcome to the Royston Kite Festival Thread...
The Festival is being held on Sunday 1st Aug at Royston in Hertfordshire.

There is plenty of space to Static fly during the Event (10:30 - 16:30) and after the area has been cleared there should be enough space for those of us that hang around to Buggy and Board, of course all of this will only be available if the Wind shows up this year...

If you want any more info PM me and i'll tell ya what I know....

I think there's a little known Kite shop from over Dunstable Coming.

If only I could remember their name...??

I know it's something to do with Kites and Dunstable.....i'm sure it will come too me..

There's a link to a local map in the first post and most of the pics on the RPK galleries were taken on the site.

I forgot to mention that Parking and Entrance is free although there will be raffle tickets on sale at the gates so you may feel obliged to put you hand in your pocket in aid of the NSPCC...

I was gonna gice this a BUMP today shaun but you beat me to it.

I have a gut feeling that this year there will be around 6-10 Mph of wind ans it will start off damp and stay a bit muggy for most of the day, if not drizzle a little bit.

We shall have to wait and see, i'll laugh if im right though.

If theres no wind...... i'll let you all watch my wallop DVD on shauns laptop, as long as the battery can last for more than 20mins and 57secs. LOL.

Just look for the RPK bright yellow banner / flag type thing.
