Would be my guess too Big and long beach like IJmuiden or Wijk aan Zee (google maps), NW 25+ knots, middle strap 75% loose and about half way depowered.

it would be stupid if you were wearing tee shirt and jeans. get some leathers and go for it. question is how do you control speed? theres not much sliding on tarmac.

Faaaaaaaaaaaarken yeah. increased my pb to 38.53. just a tad under the magic 40mph barrier. man its ellusive.

had the most awesome kiting trip. fanged a massive 66km down winder down 90 mile beach. the wind was way too cross shore for any decent speed attempts but i still managed to mangle a new top speed darting towards the sea and busting a massive slide before splash down.

What it tells me is i can beat 40mph when the conditions a right...... now i need that magic beach with wind on a onshore direction.... and i will be all on.

still 9th on the landboard listing is pretty damn cool, i'm stocked.

you could use nokia sports tracker on your phone or equivalent if you have a phone with GPS. Thats what i use to do on my bike (havent been out all winter )

Go on ebay you should pic up a nice Garmin E-trex or Forerunner for around that price even if its a bit more so much better.

got a weekend coming up at the end of march at blackrock sands and i'm praying for some good winds, first run will aim for 40 then go for the big 50mph on my second. still going to try and stick to my skate trucks to do it on, but gonna be taking a trampa channel deck just incase things get silly. gonna have gos at the ready and chances are it will be a shorts and t-shirt jobby i can't wait

my top speed was acheived about a yr ago on my d-ex board pulled by a bego 600 in about 15mph and is 28.8mph i just can't get past 30mph i think its called bottle,if i was armoured up and had at least a lid on i could of done another 5mph,but i had fuck all on armour wise if i fell off doing that speed i'd of probabably ended up in addenbrookes.

My top speed (unverified) is 30mph. I was chasing a buggy at the 08 racekites meet at Greatstone when a wheel bearing gave way and melted the hub I subsequently hit the beach and the guy in the buggy stopped and asked if I was OK and said that I was doing 30. I was using a 14m Primadonna in 15mph.
