I saw Muttley peddaling to stargate on a unicycle with 2kites a twin tip and a surfboard in the hope of a sesh - remember he's only got one leg at the minute as well. He's having the other fixed by Flexifoil.

cobs says it will calm down tomorrow from 12 onwards. cobs is alot more acurate than xc and the rest of them. i'm gonna work today and go down tomorrow afternoon.

And cheers for the tips carl,ive been out and given it a go,worked out a way of getting the board in through the drivers side door which makes it easier but i cant for the life of me fit 2 kites in the boot,ive taken out the spare,even pulled some of the carpeting out but at the moment its not even close.What mk mx5 do you have?Itd be fantastic if i could get al my gear in as itd save me a lot of money and faffing.

Cobs only gives 36 hours forecast but it's usually acurate. I use xc as a guide to what day is windy and cobs the day before to find out how windy it will be.

friday current conditions

30 -40+ mph wind with massive powerful waves - high tide around noon

best time to ride from 2pm as waves start to line up giving smooth water in between with lagoons on inside - the water becomes less confused

if unsure dont go out and look at what people are out on and ask - its severe and not much fun hanging onto 7s when its so big and windy

forecast is set to drop this arvo however - have a good ride but stay safe
