Glad you managed to do something.
I looked at the wind map at 9 this morning and decided that the wind was not looking good so was dragged to Lincoln shopping instead
Thats what the wind does when its turning...I remember being at BLS once, our kites were staked and inflated while we grabbed something to eat....within 5 minutes, all the kites swung round 180 degrees....it was strange to actually watch all the kites swing round like that

Seaside
Hi Seaside and welcome to the Lincs thread. Would have loved to be at the beach this week but back to work with a vengeance so looks like trying to grab any good wind at the weekend for me. Hope to see you somewhere on the coast soon - the Skeg to Mable run is on until the holiday season starts and then the beach will be zoned for holiday makers at the main resorts. An evening run is possible in summer if the beach quitens down but you'll understand that we're keen to avoid any incidents with the authorities!
Otherwise hope you enjoy our superb beaches - we're lucky to have them !
