Club photography tips for tomorrow?

I've been asked to cover a club party tomorrow night, because it seems to have gone round that i'm a "good photographer" problem being i have no experience shooting people. or shooting indoors for that matter.

I have an 18-55IS and a 50 prime, and i've borrowed a speedlite.... now what? any tips? it's going to be dark, with coloured lighting etc.

morgans given me some tips about flash bouncing etc.. any other tips?
