    Wind!

So I looked out of the window at work and the branches on the trees outside are actually moving. I've asked around and it turns out it's something called wind..

Fortunately kite and board are in the boot of the car, so i'm hoping for something resembling a session after work.

    Roll on 5:00!

Yea - I just ended up flying static. Was RUBBISH. The wind was gusty as hell and saw fit to change direction twice. causing my staked kite to blow sideways and get itself in a nice little ball. While I was trying to sort that out there was a nice big gust that caused it to launch, rip the handles out of my hands and require me to chase it down before it blew into some trees. FUN session..

When I read a comment such as the one posted below, I often wonder if I'm TOO OLD to be out doing that recreational activing called Kiting, and should be doing something for "older folk" instead, such as doing the weekend shop, or out in the garden cutting the hedge, or sat in the house listening to Radio 4 !!. (Im in my early 30's).
