    Buggying - West Scotland

Evening all, hope i am in the right place here,

I am looking at coming up to Scotland (west coast) for a week or so next year with the misses, i hear the best place to buggy is Troon, Irvine, Stevenston areas.

Are there any restrictions for these beaches and is there much to do round the area (gotta keep the misses happy when not kiting )

    Any info really appreciated.

    Cheers

Check out the Scottish Access Code for an understanding of how Scottish access works. If you follow it you will find no restrictions on Ayrshire beaches (there seem to be some in Fife that are designated nature reserves and therefore excluded).

Sorry can't think of much else to do in Ayrshire other than fly, but I have never looked for anything else to do there

Tom , no need to worry i spoke to him , while he was on his way up to see Keith about a new one and mines bending quite a bit now aswell , even with a brace on it so would be no use to him.

Average condition for age, awesome kite. You can pick a bar up cheap these days.

I'll be asking for £120, £100 for peeps in here.

    Cheers,

Obviously I am interested but totally skint at the moment, might be something to do with 18 race kites I've bought in the last 12 months.....????

I still haven't replaced the PL bar that broke on Simon, if the price is right 'we' might be interested in the 24" bar. Obviously he who breaks should pay but given the price of new bars I think that's a bit cruel and was looking into finding something cheaper or paying part myself - I'll try and remember to speak to him about it this afternoon.
