I couldn't find a group or thread so thought I'd start my own, maybe an informal south walian kiteclub?

hello. someone call for a south walian flyer? i live in the rhondda fly mostly at aber but do travel to the gower for flying occasionally. pieguy is local to you and flys a lot midweek as well as at the weekends. flexi needs a welsh section. so lets keep it here and if needs be ill keep everyone updated on what swatk are doing.

Me and the missus are off to Llangenith on either Friday night or first thing Saturday for the weekend - look out for me on the beach - you can't really miss my wasp-stripe-style helmet and buggy tbh.

Staying in my camper somewhere...usually a farm with no facilities as we've got everything we need on-board

i suppose i realy should make the effort and come on over stu. its looking a bit wet at the minute for sunday which is the only day with wind worth driving past aberavon for me but if its dry ill pop over and find you.

Hi there --

Although I live in Central London, I regularly come down to the Gower to kitesurf (water only, I'm afraid). I mainly kite Llangennith and Broughton, though occasionally also Swansea Bay. I often stay at Hill End. Feel free to get in touch if you are making a weekend trip ... it's always good to meet new folk and to share a barbie with at the campsite.

Not down this weekend but maybe next.

just been on the beach with pieguy, wind was mental (waaaay too much for a 12m Frenzy, but we did it anyway) Me ma'n'pa's coming to visit on sat, so I dont know about sunday, early tide and sat night will be heavy :P Mon and tues look pretty good though...

most of the south wales guys fly at aberavon or pembrey/pendine (although to fly at the last two you need to be a member od the clsc)

i have flown down on barry island a few times but not this summer (i dont know whay though i guess i just went to porthcawl far too much)

if anyone else is flying on sunday come over to aber. if the wind is useless and the beach is too, its onshore at swansea so ill be packing into the car quick and going over there straight from aber if anyone else is intreastred
