I felt sorry for the poor apollo 11 guy. His nephew bought a 9 meter G2 for 300 quid and the bar and lines for 100. £400 quid for a G2!!! I bought my 10 Venom RTF for less than that not long after they came out... poor guy

Even on ebay the G's go for pennys now.... Is a 15 on the cards mr nobby?? hmmm hmm?

Trust me mate... it was mid 20's on saturday and they forcasted 18. Today it hit 22+ and they forcaster 13. So going with that ... I think it will hit high 20's low 30's.... Also rain which is going to clear up when Gwithian is flyable. Think I will give Skypark a miss but probably be out down G

But with that in mind think it's time for me to get a 7 meter Pulse
Hmmm, alrightly then. I bow to superior local knowledge. What time will G be useable tomorrow d'ya reckon? Given the early nights we're having might we be able to squeeze in a couple of hours hammering the beach in the afternoon?

Speed runs? Might be tempted to crack out the bug. Wonder how high the 7 will throw someone?

We was at Gwithian at 1 and there were kites up.. , was more beach around to the right. Think around 2ish maybe if it's onshore.

Hmm I was getting head height most of the time half depower and 2 inch pull in on the bar for each jump on sat. Wasn't really trying... the 7 should be a blast. Depending on what happens tomorrow you might see me purchase one

So you guys are defiantly going down then?
If you are I may well come down but get in the water to see if I can stand up on one of these ere boards. Didn't wanna go on me own just incase something goes wrong like...

I'll definitly be there, land based though.

Shall we set up a confirmed time? I don't think any of us want to be flying solo tomorrow...

Daz - don't you still have that 10V? shouldn't that fly in 30?

think I may give the pulse a go. Can chuck so much wind at this kite it's insaine! Not too sure though so may be on the 10... see how it is

BTW found out whats wrong with the FDS pulling the training edge down... guess what! The bridle lines are round the wrong way lol...good old foil zone

Almost got the pulse stable now..so a bit more tweaking and then I will be happy... then again..might put the p2 up

    Sounds good.
I'm gonna have to fly the 13m in it as that's all I've got but should be fine I think.
For time I would say about 2ish. Any good?

Yeah may well have to nick that off of the lad if it's too much but hopefully it should be fine. I'll just bring it and see I think.
So 2ish it is then cool. I may not be there if the weather changes though but if it don't then it's all cool

    Really!!!! SNARF!

Thought it was something to do with the FDS. You gonna bring the 'wing as well mate?

Not that I can say anything, I realised earlier this week that the depowerleader lines are suppsed to be doubled over DSL600, not just a single strand of DSL600. Didn't get round to cutting the 17's line so I just need to retie that, but had to order a replacement for the 10

See you there around 2 then.

No the 21-gusting-35 squitts is it? Bad luck bud.

I have to admit, if XC isn't reporting something a little nicer by about 12 I might drop out as well. Not in a maxed out small kite mood. whoever is actually thinking of going down, shall we reconvene here at noon to confirm? Be a buger to be the only one out today...

god, I wish is was 12mph onshore, sunny and a noon low...

So do I mate, Would be perfect 17m weather.
I am not too sure what to do yet. I am gonna see what it's like nearer the time and take it from there.
But then I have got the lads 9m P to use which should be alot easier to handle in those winds....

lol..nope I have premature rigamortis. I feel like someones repeatedly run over me with a buggy and then chucked me off a ciff. Need something to stretch me out. So might come down and do some teathered flying with you 17 meter speed if thats ok skullfish

I'll laugh at it and write a humourous and witty but poingiont (sp) epitaph...

Go on Daz, I don't reckon we'll be out for too long if we do manage it, and even if you just get some time in on the 7m static, it'll give you an idea of what they're like in more stupid winds.

I'm still goingt o be up for it if some other people (pref at least 2) are down there, I dont like the idea of flying in these winds soloor with just one other person around....
