    gemini 540s

    ok guys, help required

have just purchased a gemini and am loving the axles, cascades, etc. just pouring off it.

Having trouble getting it to flat spin 540, though. Have managed this trick with other kites so what am I missing?

Gem sure is a sweet kite to fly.

As for 540s - They're something I've only recently started to get my head round - And 90% of those on an HQ Breeze...

Have a look thru www.andywardley.com - His EZ-PZ 540 technique works well - Biggest thing I got was to make sure the pancake in was uneven and not to slap the line you hold back too hard.

Could also try to work on the Slot - If you've got 1/2 Axels and cascades down nice the Slot should work nicely - Give a 2nd pop on the hand that initiates the 1/2 Axel when the nose is facing away and give lots of slack.

    Hope you get it nailed

    ...next - the Backspin
