    sport kite ?

    scuse my ignorance , wots a sport kite , why is this thread so innactive and cant it be hijacked for something else

    Sport Kites are 2 or 4 line "stunt" kites.

    Most people on here are power kiters and dont have much to say about them
    In our bag so far...

    I guess the reason for this category being here is because Flexifoil used to manufacture sport kites, both at the low and high ends of the market.

    Once apon a time Flexifoil built sports kites, and they were very popular. they were designed by one of the greatest designers of the UK who's reputation is still the highest today.
    The Fexifoil Matrix was one of the best in it's day, some still consider it as good. When they stopped production, the design was taken over by Carl Robertshore, who tweecked into a world class kite.

    Yes, this area is hardly used nowadays, but there are a number of us power users that like sports kites as well, but the low rate of useage does beg the question of why flexifoil still maintain this thread.

    One of My mates has got a razor.......

    But we broke it in big wind when we were too afraid to get out the powerkites...

    It was fun......... till the first crash... then we got out the buzz.
