Dover Coastguard recover kite. Is it yours?

Jacko on racekites was listening to BBC radio Kent last Friday and heard that Dover coastguard found a kitesurfing kite a mile off St Margaret's Bay.

I was hopeful that it might be mine but unfortunately my kite did not match their description. So who's is it, who's going to own up ?

If it's yours, then get in touch with them on 0130 4218 500

I should add that I contacted the coastguard there and then when I lost mine. If anyone finds my kite then please let me know. My email is [email protected]. Lost at Camber in a off-shore northeasterly wind heading southwest on February 25. It's a Flexifoil ION with bar & lines. Cheers, Tom. £100 reward regardless of condition!

It would be easy for them to reunite the owner and kite if it was reported when lost. Just a thought.

Might save them some valuable time and money as well.
True mastery of a skill was only the beginning step to understanding it.

Everyone should have the number of their local coast guard stored in their phone for just this sort of thing.

(which I am about to do, now).
